First aid course.
The individual who becomes a First Aider assumes responsibility for the life of the patient he agrees to manage. They must have the knowledge and skill in their brain and hands before the patient is ever seen.
One thing is certain: not all the methods you learn in your training will stay the same during your lifetime. It is your responsibility to keep up to date with improved methods in First Aid.
Learning to be a First Aider – ought to be interesting and challenging and even sometimes fun. This course is for you to learn the skills and gain the knowledge needed, to be prepared to save a life.
Being a first aider is an incredibly special task and becoming a First Aider is a special process. It is my hope and dream that this manual will provide a challenging format for learning First Aid and a solid foundation for doing the job well.
